Ultra-Compact Modules: Measuring just 41 mm - two times smaller than competing solutions - easily integrated into existing installations or mounted directly into camera enclosures. Low-Power Performance: modules consume just 1.5 watts of power. In-camera modules can be powered directly from the IP camera's DC voltage.
Plug-and-Play Products: are entirely transparent to connected equipment, and operate automatically after power is applied.

The ZA-0214 is an installation-ready, fully populated 19-inch rack for the control
room side of IP video surveillance camera systems. The fully integrated device is
designed for direct connection between 10/100Base-TX STP/UTP (Fast Ethernet on
shielded/unshielded twisted-pair copper cables) over 100 Mbps single-stranded
fiber to extend network reach by up to two kilometers.
Based on Zarlink’s world-class family of high-performance VCSELs and PINs,
the individual ZA-0214 link modules have been optimized to deliver excellent
optical coupling efficiency in combination with high bandwidth operation and
reliability.
The optical component of the individual modules uses dichroic beam splitters for
maximum power budget and minimum crosstalk. Minimum internal crosstalk is
achieved by the use of wavelength-selective detectors.
